Wander the beautiful expanse of Lopez Island's Iceberg Point with Dean Dougherty and Kathleen Foley of the San Juan Preservation Trust.  Our day will begin with a brief botany overview at the Lopez Library, after which we will head out to private land conserved by the San Juan Preservation Trust.  Our informative hike will let us search for our favorite (and more obscure) wildflowers.  Afterwards, those who wish can caravan back to Lopez Island Vineyards where we will finish out the day with wine tasting before returning to our homes/ferries.

Details:

Meet at the Lopez Library at 10:15am.  Bring a sack lunch to snack on after our botany review.  Bring $3.00 for wine tasting (if you choose to participate), sturdy shoes, and dress for the weather...we'll go rain or shine.

There is no fee for this event, but donations of any amount are gladly welcomed and appreciated.
