Cycle your way through lovely San Juan Valley on San Juan Island in the company of Kathleen Foley and Thor Hanson from the San Juan Preservation Trust.  We will search for elusive butterfly species such as the Island Marble and for the recently re-introduced Western bluebird.  Along the way we will learn about the San Juan Preservation Trust's conserved lands in San Juan Valley as well as its role in the Western Bluebird Reintroduction Project.  We'll stop for a scenic picnic lunch and rest along the way.

Details:

Meet at the SJPT Friday Harbor office at 10am.  Our day will finish approximately at 2pm.  Participant limit is 15.

Bring own bicycle, lunch, and water.  (Those without bicycles can rent from Island Cycles in Friday Harbor).

  There is no fee for this event, but donations of any amount would be gratefully accepted.
